I'm sure we could all say that one of the biggest causes for concern with KPRF is that the doctors that we see don't know exactly how we feel or what this condition really does to us emotionally and psychologically.

I've had many experiences with dermatologists where I walk in there with an obvious facial skin problem and I walk out with them saying that it's really nothing. I think that's just a cover up because they don't really know what KPRF is or how to treat it. Doctors need to be honest with us. Instead of trying to treat us for something that they're pretty sure it isn't, why can't they just be honest and say they don't know what it is and recommend us to someone else that may know. I think that's what a good doctor would do for a patient.

I've been thinking lately, have any of us tried to reproduce our worst flushing symptoms before we see the doctor so the doctor can actually see this condition at its worst?

It happened to me once by accident. Right on the patient table my face started burning up and heart started racing. He went from basically telling me that there was nothing wrong with me to becoming extremely concerned and diagnosing me with a heart murmer.

So if it wasn't for my intense flushing reaction in the middle of the appointment, I would have walked out again feeling like nothing was accomplished.

So because of this I believe that the docs need to see our KPRF at its worst in order to treat us properly or else they will continue to treat us the same.
