No I haven't. I was just looking at all the options out there. You mentioned a cleanse, do you mean a colon cleanser? Could you expand on that? I've always wanted to "clean house" but am concerned about side effects. Thanks

Thanks for the info I ordered the ZZ cream yesterday. So KPRF in the morning you use your regular moisturizer and at night you use the ZZ cream? Initially did you see a lot of dryness? Because I have read that in the first few weeks people's skin gets real dry with it.

Dick, my daughter also has KPRF. I lump it all together because I think the same thing causes it all. Granted, if you just want to treat it, I think you would handle both differently, but I'm looking for the cure:-)!

She used to have permanent redness (although it wasn't as vivid as it sounds some of you have), accompanied by bumps along the sides of her face. The permanent red has gone away, as did the bumps, but she still has the flushing/blushing part, although not as severe. I believe this improvement, along with her legs clearing up, were a result of the cleanses we did this past winter/spring. Since the results aren't immediate with KP, it's hard to be sure.

xcvb - I'll post more on cleansing. Out of time right now!

xcvb-Sorry, I haven't had time to respond. The thread 'I've hit a breakthrough (part 1)' started by Rachel18 has a lengthy discussion on cleansing (colon/candida/parasites) that I was involved in. It starts on page 7 and goes through page 11. I think it will answer your questions. If not, please post and I'll help further if I can!

How is everyones progress with the creams? I just finished week 6 and unfortunately I have nothing new to report, skin is smooth, flushing is less, but permanent redness has not really improved much. Dora I do not know what you mean by page 7. Is there any commercial cleansers out there that reduce redness or does it have to be homemade?

Thumbs up I am so stupid!

I am an Independent Consultant for Arbonne, and I have been using the NutriminC Body System on my arms & legs for KP...I never thought of the Thermal Fusion Masque! I use it on my face all the time, why I didn't think of it for my arms, too, I'll never know. The NutriminC line has done wonders for my KP, but I bet the masque will do MIRACLES! Someone on another thread mentioned using the balancing creams, also. Never thought of that, either, but I am going to try it, too.

Dick - My browser, IE, shows some of these threads as multiple pages. Didn't realize we may all be seeing different formats. Anyway the thread, 'I've hit a breakthrough-please read' by Rachel 18, post numbers 99-160 have a discussion on cleansing (not all of the posts, but some people asked questions and I answered to the best of my ability). Hope you can find it now!

Diagnosis

I am self-diagnosing myself as having this kp. The skin on my upper, outer arms is red and bumpy and now has developed onto my thighs, back and front. I find it very embarassing and hate wearing sun tops in case anyone touches my arms.
Do i need to go to a dermatologist and get properly diagnosed?
I don't have anything on my face and my arms are just bumpy not red. My legs do get itchy and so can become red.
What is this flushing?
I have been using ordinary moisturisers for years and my condition is getting worse. Also my daughter has it?
Help?

In my experience, doctors and dermatologists don't know much about this. I wouldn't waste your money! That is why we all turn to each other. I have had doctors just tell me that I need to learn to love my skin!! Yeah right!! You will get more good info from this site then going to a "professional". You will soon realize that there is no true cure for this condition. Just try some of the suggestions from this site that has worked for others, maybe you will find something to manage your KP. I know that is what I am hoping for. Good Luck!
