Question Question...please help...

I have had keratosis pilaris on my upper arms and upper thighs (and very little on my face) for as long as I can remember. But the day before yesterday I noticed miniscule flesh colored bumps all over my chin and cheeks that are so close together it changed the texture of my skin. I thought it might be the beginning of keratosis pilaris rubra faceii. I mean I swear it happened overnight. I don't know much about the condition. The bumps are A LOT smaller than the ones on my arms and legs and older ones on my face. PLEASE help me solve this...I am 22 years old, shouldn't I have outgrown at least some of this by now???

It could be a condition called Milia? It's a condition like KP brought on by hormones.

No I think it could definitely be keratosis pilaris rubra faceii, cuz that sounds exactly like my skin. I've had it on my face since I was really younger, and it's always been those little bumps, much smaller than the ones on my arms and legs, that are so close together that it just looks like red patches. I have it on my cheeks, chin, upper lip, eyebrows, and the sides of my face right near the hairline. I have never found anything to make it go away.

I say exfoliate and mositurize right away and be consistent. I have heard really good stuff about retin A and just recently started using it. I say maybe get some retin A and start using it on yoru face...it helps you peel. You might have had this falre up because of something you ate or stress. Again....changes are it needs to peel off and hopefully wouldn't come back.
