Smile Follow-up on red relief

Hi Friends,

I purchased the Eucerin at Sav-on. On any given day my face is red & hot, although today was the first day in such a long time that I actually felt so relaxed and comfortable, my face was like normal, I put the lotion on first thing in the morning after my shower, that's all I have to use because it's a moisturizer, spf 15 & red relief all in one, it's great, so yes my facial redness almost disappeard as soon as I applied the lotion, it has a cooling effect, they say the licorice content, even at the end of the day today when my face would be the reddest (bright red) it only looked like I was slightly blushed...so nice!!
I'm only using the lotion, not trying any of the other eucerin, this one has it all...I will keep you posted.

my son is in a concert today at school. and I encouraged him to try the lotion..he said that he had used it last night...but that was the cleaner and night time cream...WE had a small free sample...I'm not sure if he used the lotion this morning- I didnt want to make a big deal about it, but his face still looked red.Glad to hear that the stuff works for you..I'll keep you posted..Lynn, where are you located?....Lets keep this thread going..Have great day, Robin

Hi hoyhoy,

You know I also wanted to let you know that I've been using noxema (regular) on my face nightly and it leaves my face so soft, but most of all, it leaves it feeling so cool and relaxed, maybe you could try it on your son, it's really a gentle cleanser. I'm in Los Angeles, where are you at? Keep me posted - Lyn

hi lyn, thanks for the reply..We are in albany NY. I bought the eucerin redness relief lotion, cleanser and night creme today at CVS..So far my son did agree to use those 3 products...The lotion covered up the redness , but not completely..I thought it looked good though...Have you used the perfecting creme.?.the trial samples we had had that in it..It is green and its supposed to cover the redness not covered by the lothon..My son thought that was "too much"...His face is soft , no bumps...just the extreme redness.( he has the redness on the ears too!).. Keep me posted..Robin

Really glad there is something that might help.

Does your face look like the picture we have all seen of Rubra faceii?

Cheers

Hi friends,

Yes 2004 that is the right product. I have not used the perfecting creme, I think I'll stick to the lotion, so far so good and I also notice that if at the end of the day my face seems a little redder, I re-apply some more lotion and it works great, doesn't look thick or cakey....my reddness is pretty bright, but smooth, and the noxema is really helping me to balance out the oilyness that I have and yet doesn't irritate all the dryness, tricky thing we have....I also have keratosis pilaris, but also seem to be having some results with that as well with the noxema....I have a friend who has extremely dry skin (no keratosis p.) but real dry, she started taking fish oil capsules and my goodness, her skin is looking so much smoother and softer to the touch, so I'm going to start taking a capsule a couple times a wk, also has omega 3, which is very good for us...I'll keep you posted...have a great day!!!

Thansk so much for all this info!

Do you think I should apply the lotion on my eye brows as well? I have Ulerythema ophryogenes, so my eye brows are often very red.

my son uses the cleanser, the night cream and the lotion...His face is still red through the lotion, but toned down..the lotion covers it up.but if you use too much it looks whitish on your skin...The box says it works in 4 weeks, and he has only been using it a few days...Lets keep our fingers crossed!!!! At least he uses it!! Good luck, Robin
