Laser treatment for KPRF

I have had treatment using the 'Pulsed Dye Laser'. There are a few references on the net referring to this for treating Atrophoderma Vermiculata, which is a variation of KPRF that involves redness as well as pitting on the cheeks. I had one treatment done that left my skin very swollen and purple for about two weeks. It definately helped the redness. I have not gone back for any repeats yet but as the medical articles suggest several treatments may be necessary to achieve a complete results. If considering any laser treatment the most important thing is to find a dermatologist familiar with treating your particular condition - I had to travel to the other end of the country to find someone familiar with this condition. It can be expensive so a bit of research is well worth while. I live in NZ and found an answer by going to the NZ dermatological association with my questions about who had the right equipment and practice with treating this conditon. If your red skin is really getting to you this is something very permanent you can do to reduce the redness.
