Cool Exercise and other activity

Whenever I exercise of play basketball, my face will flush, burn up, and become extremely red. While I'm playing or exercising it feels good. But once I take a break and sit down to cool down or relax my face will almost instantly flush.

Also, I sweat alot during exercising or when I go to a dance or something of that nature. When dancing my face (mostly forehead) will sweat almost uncontrollaby and my shirt will be sopping wet by the end of the night.

So it seems like I'm fine when I'm actually doing the activity but once I stop, I flush and burn up real bad.

Let me know if you can relate to this

Ryan

I should have specified too. My face is always a constant red, but the exercising and other activity makes my face flush and become incredibly more red.

I have the same problem, I refrain from using my bicycle because of that. The only exercising I can do without feeling horribly hot is aquafitness...!

I noticed also that I flush a lot when I drink red wine (a few sips are enough!) over an empty stomach. The flushing won't go away until a few hours after that...

I think a red face during exercise is not a bad thing, i think it can be normal. Just wash ur face afterwards. The sweating.. ew
Try accupuncture for sweating?

Ya I always notice I get really red in the face when I drink any type of alcohol, although i guess that would be the dehydration kickin in. As for the sweating, i haven't really found that i sweat profusely all over but i do know that I need to use Secret Platinum Protection deodorant because anything else is too weak for me. I do tend to sweat a bit even when I'm not exercising and other deodorants don't keep me dry enough and i start to stink. Platinum protection is the only thing I can use, and it has to be the solid too. Clear gel does nothing for me.

A friend of mine has problems with sweating a lot too and i noticed the other day that he has little red bumps on his upper arms. His are nowhere near as bad as mine are but i'm wondering if his bumps are KP as well.

My face is what has made me give up exercise...lol. The redness, the sweating, and people constantly asking me if I am ok - it's horrible!!!

I sometimes flush for no reason - almost like a hot flash. I feel it start, my cheeks get hot and feel tight, and I sweat. It's gotten so bad that I've almost been purple. My family doc got to see it once, and put me on blood pressure medication. (There is nothing wrong with my blood pressure.)

Nice to see that we are not alone with this!!

Blessings -

Tennille
