Hey ya'll,

I'm Haley. I'm 20 years old and live in Greenville, South Carolina and last night I discovered that I suffer from KP. I've had it for as long as I can remember on my thighs and a small amount on my upper arms. Up until now I just thought I was cursed with bad skin or had an ongoing case of razorburn.. lol. Last night after shaving I just hopped online and looked up "little red bumps on skin" hoping for some advice to get rid of them, I had no idea that it was an actual skin condition though. Although I'm upset that there's no cure for this, I'm glad that I at least know what it is now and what I can do to help it (and my dad since he was so kind as to pass this on to me). I'm looking forward to experimenting and trying out all that I can to help this condition and maybe I'll finally let myself wear some skirts/shorts/dresses. Anyways, there's my sob story, and I'm happy to be here and meet ya'll.

Welcome to the KP Forum. I hope you find some good ideas here to try and that some of them help you. Have you read the two sticky threads, "Thread Devoted to What Works for You" and "Commercial Products that Have Worked"? You will find a collection of posts recounting products and methods that helped reduce KP by 50% or more. Let us know what you try and if it helps.
