New from GA
Hello all,
I'm a long-time lurker who finally decided to register. My skin has been plagued by KP since I was about 12 and I'm turning 32 this year. My skin is dark so I have these nightmarish brown spots on my legs. It used to be really rough feeling, but after about 3 hair laser treatments they feel alot better (funds have dried up for this though) . . .But the spots are still there. I've been using hydroquinone and Kerol Redi-Cloths just exhausting money and time trying to appear normal somehow. Summertime is the WORST. I would die to wear a pretty sundress or a pair of shorts. I get very depressed this time of year. ![]() I'm petrified of dating, especially in Atlanta where 95% of the women are perfect. Anyway,I hope something in my experience can help someone else. Feel free to ask questions. I have tried many of the suggestions from this forum (the ones I could afford, anyway) and would love to know what has worked for others. I'm still hanging onto hope that one day I'll wear that sundress. Thanks for your support. |

Re: New from GA
Thank you.
I have not tried tanning. That was going to be my next thing. I'm using hydroquinone now though so I can't. But if I don't see results in the next few months I will try to make my legs darker instead of making the spots lighter. |
