Hey Guys

I'm a 19 year college student from Omaha, Nebraska and have been dealing with this joyous condition (sarcasm) since grade school. It is nice to have a place to talk to people and see what works for some and hopefully I can get some good results from something here! Hope everyone is having a good day!

What I have found to work
Keratosis Pilaris can NEVER be cured unfortunately...
I have been dealing with this since highschool & for 10 years almost now...it is really hard to deal with in college and I am still very self conscious about it.

I want everyone out there to know what has worked pretty well for me so they can help themself or their children.

Out of ALL my years with this (since I was born it has gotten worse) I have grown to know this

consuming sugar is known to make it worse..
tanning beds actually HELP!

Also.. *Note: If you use any prescription medication (lotions) from your dermatiologist, it will get WORSE before it gets better.. be prepared to experience that..

If you want my opinion on the prescription lotion (ex: lachydrin, Amlactin, etc... are not succesfful)

This is really hard and a lot of people don't realize the stressors it puts on kids. Going to Prom and having those horrible icky red bumps all down your arm. Or playing sports with everyone staring at you... It is hard, but you can overcome it.
For me, my legs are almost cleared from the KP Medi Exfoliation & Body Scrub.. I would highly reccomend this to everyone!
