Red face a new member says hi- started op today!

Hello, KP fighters! I have had severe KP for about 15 years now and I am so happy that I have found this fantastic community here! Thanks so much for sharing all your experience and I regret that I did not google KP earlier.

My KP is really really bad, believe me or not, I have never seen a person whose KP is as bad as mine. I have got millions of big brown bumps on my upper arms, legs, neck and face. My KP is getting worse and worse every year..

Anyway, I have started OP today because that is the only method which I can afford at the moment
I will keep you guys updated.

Let's fight KP together!

Hi Potato,

Welcome to the KP forum and welcome to the wacky world of oil pulling! I know it made a huge reduction in my KP (80-90% less) and it has helped with so many other areas of my health, that KP or not, I would never stop doing it. Please keep in touch and let us know if it helps your KP or anything else.

Another affordable method may be using a salt or sugar scrub for mild abrasion. How about suggestions from anyone else reading this? Can you help Potato out and suggest affordable KP treatments?

Thank you so much Kepod. I have tried a salt scrub before however did not work for me.
I have been oil pulling for 3 days now. apart from the fact that my mouth ulcer disappeared yesterday, I can't feel anything has changed. but I'll keep on doing OP until KP is defeated or I am defeated.

I agree with Kebod.

You can use a sugar scrub to mechanically exfoliate your skin. This have to be done every day when you shower.

This recipe should yield almost for 2 shower times. If you have KP in more areas of your body, you should use it all.

You can combine:

1/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup 100% pure honey
2 tsp. dry oatmeal
1 tbsp. coconut oil or olive oil
1/2 tbsp. almond extract (optional, if you like almond scent)

Use a small bowl with lid.
  1. Pour the oil in the measuring cup, then add the honey. Don't mix it.
  2. Pour both ingredients into the bowl. You should see that all the honey comes out and doesn't stick to the measuring cup.
  3. Add the rest of the ingredients and mix well.
  4. Take it to the shower and apply it to damp skin. Rub it hard ( not to much that it hurts)against the skin where you have KP. Use a circular motion.
  5. Clear your mind and enjoy it while you are doing it.
  6. Rinse it out.
After getting out of the shower, moisturize your skin.

Remember to ask whenever you like!!
Good Luck
