None of you will actually believe the total feeling of relief that washed over me, when i discovered this site and learnt that i am not the only one feeling so self conscious about my skin.

I'm 25years old and have been suffering from an unidentified skin disorder for the past two years. I took a look at the site and i identify with the symptoms (tho i only have on my face, particularily the low cheek areas)...which everybody i have consulted with thought was just a case of acne. I have only just recently started doing reserach on the topic after talking to my doctor and decided to book an appointment with the dermatologist.

I have been put on hormone pills,all kinds of ointments, facial scubs, soaps, diets,anti-biotics, contraceptives, (you name it!!!) and the condition just worsens once i try to put some of that acne stuff on it (Zap it!!)

Nice also to know that i will have people to talk about all this frustartion, the sad thing though is that one's self-esteem takes such a bashing....oh and the people dont stop staring. I have been on a course of Arithromycen (sp), that doesnt seem to be helping. Is there a way that one can bring down the redness a lill???Those pads that i read about, you guys think i can get them in South Africa??

Has any of you guyz tried Zinplex, as a diet suppliment and checked if it has any effect what so ever on this skin disorder. It apparently is a combination of Selenium and Zinc, has been proven to help those with skin disorders and those HIV positive with thrush and other blisters and sore sthat they break out in. U all figure its worth a try???
