Foster mum with 7yr old girl with KP
My darling foster daulghter has KP. I think i have tried every cream / oil / advice / remedy that is out there.
She has been with us since she was 3mths old. She is developmentally delayed. But our girl who we love regardless. I will try anything to help her with her skin.I did read somewhere of a cream to get the chemist to make that helps. Has anyone seen the thread? So happy to find other parents here for support. Take care, Janelle |

Re: Foster mum with 7yr old girl with KP
Janelle,
How wonderful of you to care so much for a foster child. Please read everything you can on Parent's Corner and try some of the remedies. Remember what works for one, doesn't work for another, so you may have to try different remedies to find one for your daughter. Also, give a remedy about a month to see if there is any benefit. I don't advise AHA for children. Their skin is too tender and delicate, plus its use increases the incidence of sun damage, premature wrinkles and skin cancer. kebod |
