Hello all,
I'm a 22 year old female and I'm (obviously) new to this forum but I'd just like to say how relieved I am to finally have found a community of people who share the same problem as me and actually understand the feelings I've experienced living with KP! There are people out there with worse conditions I know, but KP can still be an embarrassing thing to have sometimes. I've known the name for it for years but always read there was no cure for it, as most of you also have heard, but I don't want to give up just yet because it would be a great feeling to finally get rid of it someday and not have to deal with questions or comments such as "What's that red stuff on your arm?" "oh you have goosebumps" or "Is that a rash?" as I've heard in the past... along with looks I've gotten from certain people.
I've been reading the thread on oil pulling and how it's helped some people and I think I'd like to give that a try too...couldn't hurt anyway right? I'll let you guys know how that goes.

But anyway I'm glad to have found this forum and I look forward to getting to speak with you guys and share advice as time goes on!!

Welcome to the KP forum. As you may have read, there are a lot of different remedies being tried, some with mixed results, some which help some people but don't help others. Perhaps this is because there are different causes. Let us know if oil pulling or any other remedy makes a difference for you.
