My 2 yr old daughter has kp on her cheeks, upper arms and thighs. She started with it at 6 mos on her cheeks and it spread to her thighs and arms at 1 yr. Her dermatologist diagnosed her and I have been reluctant to try prescription medication for the fact that she is so young. However, we have tried many different otc lotions to no avail. I also have purchased products from the internet also with no results.

She is such a fun loving, good natured, beautiful child and my hopes were to find a treatment before it starts to affect her self esteem, but I am getting extremely discouraged as we have yet to find an effective treatment.

If anyone out there has found something that works for their child, please, please, I would be so grateful to you if you would take the time to share that treatment with me.

I believe that treatment for the tender soft skin of a toddler is different than treatment for a teenager or adult. I pray for a cure. Thank you for listening.
