On a whim today, I decided to Google my skin symptoms and sort of self-diagnosed my own KP. Had no idea there was a word for it until today but recognize that my father picked at his upper arm 'zits' for decades and realize that since it's hereditary - I have identical symptoms with these whiteheads.
Another thing that I realized was that its now worse after recent pregnancies combined with stopping all tanning a few years back. Now its on my thighs and even below my knees. I read that those trends are also typical for females with KP.
Fortunately I realized that I have access to discount All Clear body wash and toner (2% salycilic acid) that I get for my daughter (I am a BC consultant). I plan on being my own guinea pig and will stock up if its a success. I'll keep good notes and pics on the progess to share with the members and of course keep ya'll posted if there is a sale. Here's hoping it's cheaper than Neutrogena.
