Hey everyone, I'm new to the board so thought I'd post an introduction.
As my title suggests, I am pretty much covered in KP. It is all over the backs of my upper arms, which makes them look sort of purplish in color. The front of my thighs are absolutely covered in red bumps, and all the way down my calves and ankles. I seem to be developing it on my chest, though it looks different from the rest - more like larger pores/follicles and raised bumps, but not red. My face has a bit of a rough texture in some places, but I don't have the blush so much. I recall the first time it was brought to my attention. I had gone to the beach with a friend around the time I was 12 or 13. On the car ride home, she looked at me and said, "Dude, your goosebumps just won't go away!" So I looked at my legs and there they were: reddish-purply bumps EVERYWHERE. They've been a huge source of insecurity to me ever since. I have a hard time wearing shorts and skirts, though I don't worry as much about my arms, and wear tanktops all the time. The backs of my arms are quite noticeable, but hell, I like my tanktops. ![]() I'm now 20 years old, and am looking everywhere for a way to treat these symptoms. I've tried a few different things, but my case seems fairly severe and I'm so overwhelmed. I'm so happy to have found you guys, this place has an amazing, welcoming, comforting atmosphere and it's nice that none of you would look at me and ask if I had shaving bumps on my legs. ![]() I look forward to sharing information with everyone! |

Re: Covered in KP
Hi Zoyenka,
Welcome to our KP Forum. I hope you find remedies here to help your KP. Please take time to read many of the other forums to see what others are trying. What helps some of us doesn't work for others, possibly because KP has different causes. You may have to try several remedies to find something that helps you. You are welcome to join in any of the ongoing discussions with your comments and answers. kebod |
