I am a new member. I am so happy I found this place. My problem areas have been my cheeks and the back of my arms for as long as I can remember (I am now 29). It was the worst when I was in my teens and it seems to have gotten a little better with age.

I have been to dermatologists twice for these symptoms. The first time I was 12 and the specialist couldn't give me any diagnosis. The second time I was 22 and another specialist incorrectly diagnosed me with perioral dermatit.

It wasn't until a week ago as I googled "bumps on cheeks" that I finally found the right diagnosis myself! And now I have found this place! I am so happy that I am not alone in this.

I live in Sweden and for the last 4 days I have been using an over the counter cream called Canoderm which contains the substance Karbamid (it could be called something else in English) on the back of my arms and on my cheeks. It has definitely helped with the bumps on my arms which seems to have gotten flatter. Perhaps it has helped a little on my cheeks too but the skin there is still ruff and red.

I am looking forward to reading all the tips in here about treatments.
