How I cured my KP and rosacea in 1 week
Hi All,
I typically don't posts to forums, but hopefully my story can help some of you out there who desperately want a cure. I suffered with KP and rosacea since I was 13 and tried every lotion and treatment out there...nothing ever worked. I am 42 years old now and approximately 3 weeks ago I went to an internist because I was feeling unusually tired. After blood tests, she told me my blood sugar was very high and I could be at risk of developing diabetes. After hearing the bad news I decided to research natural ways of lowering my blood sugar ( I just couldn't fathom spending the rest of my life injecting insulin and testing my blood). The research indicated that diabetes is an inflammatory disease caused by poor nutrition and lack of vitamins and minerals. I was shocked, since I thought I had a healthy diet and always kept my weight low (I am a size 4); however, it turns out that my diet was slowly killing me. My diet was full of sugar and/or Nutrasweet, lots of carbohydrates and little or no fresh vegetables/fruits. I now think that KP and rosacea are inflammatory diseases which can be cured. Here is my new diet, which cured my KP and rosacea in 1 week and lowered my blood sugar to normal levels (praise GOD!) -I went cold turkey on the sugar and Nutrasweet, and I do mean cold turkey. Both create inflammation. -I eat 6 small meals a day. Each meal has a small protein with either fruit or vegetables. -Carbohydrates (bread, rice) should be minimal and as pure as possible (whole wheat bread, brown rice are preferable) -I take organic flax seed oil, cinammon and alpha lapoic acid (all help regulate inflammation in the body). I work long hours and have an active social life (tons of restaurants, etc.) and I never thought I could pull this diet. But it is pretty simple ....I feel great and my arms and face feel smooth like baby skin. I hope this helps some of you. I would gladly give you tips where to find all the stuff listed above. |

Re: How I cured my KP and rosacea in 1 week
Hello Carolyne,
Thank you for sharing your healing method with us. We all learn from each other, and I'm sure your posting will help some of us here. I have a great book, The Anti-Inflammation Diet and Recipe Book by Jessica Black, N.D. It has great recipes that you might find helpful, if you don't already have this book. Also, this web site provides inflammatory ratings for many foods: NutritionData.com NutritionData's Nutrition Facts Calorie Counter Enter the food type, press enter, and then scroll down to see its inflammatory rating. I use this site a lot for sugar and carbohydrate quantities, as well as the inflammatory rating. Please feel free to join on-going discussions with your suggestions and comments. kebod |
