Smile Hello, all!

I am really glad to have found this community. I am 26 year old girl from Norway, Europe who has been struggling with KP on the arms and face for, oh, who knows how long. I can remember my 1st grade teacher remarking that my skin was very rough, but I don't remember really noticing it until I was in my early teens. From then on, I've been getting more and more obsessed with it.

I'm glad to see that people on here have found different successful ways of treating their KP. It gives me a lot of hope! I have a daily routine which makes me get though the day/night, but I hope I can find something that produces even better results. What I do is exfoliate my arms with a pumice stone, then apply a moisturizer (Biotherm Lait Corporel), which makes the skin smooth for a few hours, but doesn't reduce the redness. I also need to exfoliate my face at least every few days, because it gets so rough, I hate it. I am pretty sure I have Rubra Faceii.

What I hate most about KP is that I can't just take my jacket off when the sun comes out. I tend to keep a long-sleeved sweater or jacket on, even if it's burning hot, if I'm out somewhere where I don't have the opportunity to "touch up" a bit. No fun at all. I'm so glad to have found someone who understands!

Nice to meet you all
