Hey there! I just found out about KP not too long ago! I went out and got a bunch of stuff...I still need a little advice! I got Kerasal, Eucerine Intensive Repair Hand Creme (for the AHA), Vaseline Moisture Locking Lotion, AmLactin lotion, and Dove body wash...Good choices??

On another thread, I did put a link to a Notepad of mine I've set up on another board: http://www.makeupalley.com/user/notepad/sencha/

You have def. made good choices, as far as some products to try, and my Notepad is not all-inclusive by any means.

Right now, I am trying Dove Pro Age body wash and Vaseline active firming body lotion. For me, none of the "usual suspects" ever did work. My most recent attempt was asking my derm for a salex rx (this has 6% salicylic acid in it!) & it didn't get rid of my KP.

Overall, I've probably had my best luck with products containing an ingredient from the "alpha-hydroxy acid" family.

Btw,

Thanks! I've been using the Kerasal with the moisture locking lotion overnight and then mixing the Eucerine and Amlactin and using it after I shower...seems to be doing better! Definitely a noticeable difference = ) The Kerasal is expensive and you don't get too much so is there any recommendations for similar products?

I'm guessing these ingredients in the Kerasal are doing the trick for you: Salicylic Acid (Skin Softener), Urea (carbamide) (Debrides & Hydrates the skin).

I know you can find those in separate products, but I don't know about together in one product. You can ask your doctor for a salex prescription and a urea lotion (or cream) rx.

Someone else here might know of something...

ETA How ironic. I went searching on drugstore.com under "vaseline lotion" & the healthy body complexion lotion came up. I just ordered 3 bottles of it.
