Hi guys. i'm new in here (actually, i've been following this forum from some months ago
) and i would like to thank u guys sooo much for all the help and support.my name's Daniel, i'm from Brazil and i am 17 (18 at december). i have KP almost all over my body (except the intimate part, lol) and i've been suffering of KP since.. ahh.. since i can remember ... things i have tried: * Vitamin A (don't remember the name of the pill) * Eucerin Dry Skin 10% Urea * Eucerin Sensitive Skin PH5 Lotion * some mix with urea 20%, alfa bisabolol, macadamia oil and oliven qsp (or something like this) * Coconut oil Nothing different. OK. back to dermatologist. Trying now: * Roaccutane 20mg - 1 pill after lunch * Nivea Body Lotion Milk - Extra Dry Skin About 2 months later, all the same. Same red dots, same rought bumps and what i most hate: same redness. I'll wait a bit more. A friend of mine said my arms look different (she knows about the treatment), and said it's less red. I don't believe her. LOL. But i never stopped seaching for new things. So, yesterday, i went to google and searched "keratosis pilaris", as i make almost every day, and i found, in the sponsored links, a product called Pilarical. Then, i started searching something about it. Looks like new website, it was only found in adsense ads. nobody talking about it. I searched a bit more, and found more products for different reasons, like banical, vagrical, garcical. Things in common: the website of each of them are equal to the others, the same layout, the same description, the same results of the "clinical tests", the same address (each website says it's an individual company) and no phone numbers. here's the address: PO Box 2175 Paleagade 7 DK-1231 KBH K Denmark And they say it's an USA office. LOL. I looked at Google Maps and this address doesn't exist in Denmark. What do u guys think? It's almost obvious that it's fake, but maybe someone has bought it and it's true. Thanks guys, and sorry for the length of this text ![]() |

Re: Pilarical - Sounds like a trap
Hi Dan,
Welcome to the KP Forum. It is curious that the ingredients for Pilarical (to treat KP) and Vagrical (to treat Graves disease, an autoimmune disease which affects the thryroid gland) are identical. The address, KBH K seem to be postal shorthand for Copenhagen, known as Kobenhavn in Denmark. The rest of the address is a post office box, so I think it could be a legitimate address. Google couldn't show post office box locations. I can't find any info on the web site that says they are in the US. The reason the web pages are the same is because it is the same company, offering different treatments for different disorders. You went to three different pages of the same company. The company name is the same on all three pages -- Solutions by Nature. The address doesn't bother me. What bothers me about this are the identical ingredients for two very different disorders. kebod

KP reduced 99%. If I go "off diet" -- grains, sugars, etc. -- or stop oil pulling, KP returns. |

Re: Pilarical - Sounds like a trap
IMHO I will not risk my money or my credit card info with them. There are no real reviews for the product or people are not talking about them here.

Re: Pilarical - Sounds like a trap
I assume you're talking about oil pulling when you say coconut oil. That was the first one I tried as well, for 3 or 4 months 2-3 times a day with no success. Then I tried sunflower oil, which yielded better results, and eventually sesame oil. I've been using sesame oil ever since, just oil pulling once a day for 20 minutes. It didn't get rid of the KP, but it's made it significantly better compared to what it once was.

Re: Pilarical - Sounds like a trap
the soap you are using will I'm sure have minor benefits in the long term but you can't use anything for just 4 days and expect results. You have to be in it for the longhaul I'm afraid.
Chopping and changing every week to a new thing is not the answer. |

Re: Pilarical - Sounds like a trap
come on guys. i told you several times but i could not convince you that there are people and products that are cheating us.
esp. to elza zoe and kebod, I told you so. ![]() It sounds like "Keplarex": http://www.keplarex.com/ingredients.html Remember: Keplarex said to cure KP????? Probably the same person/people make them. Last edited by levant; 07-31-2009 at 01:20 PM.. |

Re: Pilarical - Sounds like a trap
Even the common cold doesn't have a cure. And no, there is no cure for all cancer. Thousands of people still die from it every year. I think that the medical community does not see KP as a serious disease. No one dies from it. Another possible reason this is not investigated is that it takes millions of dollars for medical research. I don't know if they have the motivation to invest millions of dollars and years of time in a disorder that is seen as primarily cosmetic.
