Re: :@ arghh

Im really sorry for this situation, i understand you, seeing others with perfect skin and not being able to wear sleevless shirts or skirts is awful but theres things we can do to improve.
I used a cream with ahas 5% (dove pro age) and helped me with the arms, my friends noticed less redness and bumps but this didnt help for other areas.
Salycilic acid penetrate the pores to disolve fat, this is something ahas (lactic acid) cant do and has anti inflamatory effect also. So you can try it but as lotion (at least 2% of salycilic acid), not only for scrubbing cause in this case the active ingredient is in contact with your skin just for seconds, not enough to penetrate and make a significant effect.

I dont know about the big bumps, maybe some pores clog more than the rest, did you check that with your derm?.
Use a moisturizer soap for shower. Something that helped me with the big bumps in my legs is Jergens smoothing lotion with jojoba beads (cheap), you can use this at nights and salycilic acid after the shower.
Hope this help you, keep trying, we are here to help you.

Re: :@ arghh

thankyouu i will try all this
i think the most frustrating thing is that there are certain times of the day when it looks awful and sometimes, like when i wake up i cant see anything at all so i forget about it, meaning i dont take as much action

Re: :@ arghh

If you have 'white bumps' on your arms this is the keratin build up rather than acne. I used to think it was acne when I was your age because the bumps and the white plugs were so noticeable.

Hopefully the treatments mentioned above and elsewhere on this site will reduce the appearance of these.
