Re: Epsom Salt Bath Works

I think a couple of times a week for the epsom salt soak. I don't really know if there is a rule for this -- probably not -- as it is not a common treatment for KP. If you try it, please let us know how many times a week you do it and if it helps.

My treatment: Oil pulling daily; candida diet (minimum of carbs, no sugars); omega-3 from canned salmon and sardines; sun exposure 10-15 minutes, 3 days a week, without sunblock; program to strengthen immune system; probiotic supplements; lots of water; moderate daily exercise; exfoliation with epsom salts and sugar several times a week. KP reduced 99%. If I go "off diet" -- grains, sugars, etc. -- or stop oil pulling, KP returns.

Re: Epsom Salt Bath Works

I soak for up to 30 mins. I plan on doing it forever. I work out hard and it provides a lot of other uses to help me stay injury free. I heard at least 3 times a week is good enough. I buy my epsom at walgreens. It's really cheap.

It might sound like a drag to do this, but I rather enjoy it. My face is looking really good. I feel it's totally worth it.

Re: Epsom Salt Bath Works

The name has nothing to do with Twilight lol, but I do like the movie and started reading the books.

I like Vampires in general even though I think most vamp movies are garbage. The name is a quote from a vampire game. Day 5 is in the books

I plan to add oil pulling to my routine too.

Argh Epsom Salts are really expensive over here (in the UK) and really hard to find

Glad to hear it's working for you! How much do you put in the bath each time?

Re: Epsom Salt Bath Works

Ahh, that's what I was dreading The pot that I bought is only good for 2 cups and it cost £5! Argh oh well.

Anyone know where I can find Epsom Salts cheaply in the UK?

Re: Epsom Salt Bath Works

Internet? You could also try just rubbing the limited amount on your infected areas as mentioned in this thread.

Re: Epsom Salt Bath Works

is it normal after u do it ur body turns damn red.. or maybe i did to much warm ? lol
iwould like in grams how much u do? by cup we cant estimate alot.. also do u enter in the bath stay for 30 minutes do exfoliate and u rinse and ur ready?

i might see a slighty difference now i look clear but its little
by what u said 3 times a week which days? do u do them after each other...

do u use the olive for exfoliate.?? and a last i use oil pulling also.. and yea i would like to see a experiment.. if epsom removes kp but if comes bk if u dont do epsom again... but with oil pulling it keeps kp from regenerating and might reduce it also.. well after been doing 1 year oil pulling it never increased my kp so i intend to do epsom till i see it like it cant remove me anymore then stop and continue with oil pulling to see if it comes bk or no.. i will update tomorrow hopefully.. i intend to do epsom today also for 20 minutes this time.. and about 75 g...

Re: Epsom Salt Bath Works

I don't put any lotion on. I actually been doing it every night before bed. If you do it 3 times a week, space it out and I recommend having a small cup and using it as a exfoliater when you shower by rubbing it on your skin.

It is normal for you to turn red from the heat. That's just your blood. (at least my theory from other athletic injury preventions I used to do)

It feels a little itchy when I am in the tub soaking. The more I put in, the more I will feel the itch. You get used to it.

Don't forget to drink water and try to get a little sun if you can.
