Scarring?

Scarring?
I never pick at my KP because I always tried to ignore it, besides I can't really pick at it because I don't have very large bumps. So my question is, I notice that in the very red areas like my upper arms I seem to have a shiny silvery look (like some scars have) does that mean there scarring?
