Maybe its not a vitamin deficiency

What confuses me about the whole vitamin deficiency thing is that my unaffected kp skin is healthy , my hair is healthy, my bones are healthy. I dont get the flu or cold often, I dont have body pains or womens issues like thrust or UTI's , im not overweight or ever been overweight ect... Im overall healthy

So if my body was lacking vitamins for instance why am i not affected by this deficiency in other areas, its just this stupid kp on my legs.

What are we missing here?????????

Re: Maybe its not a vitamin deficiency

KTF - The main answer I have is more questions: Why when someone is allergic to a food (and not anaphylactic) do they only breakout in hives in certain areas or get a stuffy nose? How is that related to the food going into their stomachs? or for vitamin deficiencies, Do our bodies just utilize the vitamins in other areas first and then when it runs out, less essential areas suffer? or Why when my hormone levels change do I breakout in certain areas and not others? Why is the T-zone the T-zone and other areas of skin aren't so prone to pimples?

I don't know that we can always say KP is a vitamin deficiency at it's root. If KP is classified as a subset of eczema, allergies often cause eczema. Granted, a food allergy may disrupt digestion and therefore cause a vitamin deficiency but if a person is only sensitive to a food, that may lessen the severity of the problem? or maybe the allergy doesn't always upset digestion? I dunno. or if it's triggered by a topical allergy - like to mites of various sorts which can cause atopic dermatitis or other topical allergens like perfumes or scents in products, molds, whatever - severity could be variable also. Or instead of vitamin deficiency could some of us just have bad genetic encoding for certain areas? I don't know how that works exactly...

my $.02 - bd
