Re: For those interested in A Candida Detox Diet

Sue,

Well, I eat a lot more than water and air. If you check out a candida diet, you will see that not every food is bad for you. I eat eggs, range-fed beef, fish, all low-carb vegetables (which means no potatoes, peas, corn). Poulty and pork are also OK. I just choose not to eat them. I have a huge salad every day with different fresh and steamed veggies. Every meal includes protein, such as fish, eggs or beef. I also cook my food in coconut oil and drizzle olive oil over my food after it is prepared.

There is no reason to follow this diet if you don't have candida. If you do have candida, the sooner you start this diet, the better.

My treatment: Oil pulling daily; candida diet (minimum of carbs, no sugars); omega-3 from canned salmon and sardines; sun exposure 10-15 minutes, 3 days a week, without sunblock; program to strengthen immune system; probiotic supplements; lots of water; moderate daily exercise; exfoliation with epsom salts and sugar several times a week. KP reduced 99%. If I go "off diet" -- grains, sugars, etc. -- or stop oil pulling, KP returns.

Re: For those interested in A Candida Detox Diet

I'm starting to be on this diet but i can't find a good routine meal. Can anyone help me out?

Kebod, i'm also curious...in your treatment, are you taking flora-balance of any sort?
Is it okay to be on the candida diet and at the pills at the same time?

Re: For those interested in A Candida Detox Diet

Hi msn,

Here are a few links where you can read about candida diets:

Candida Diet

I take probiotic supplements in the form of capsules and tablets. I also make sauerkraut. It is a sourceo of lactobacilli. I eat it with every meal.

"Is it okay to be on the candida diet and at the pills at the same time?"
Do you mean probiotic pills? If so, yes. You want to be on a strict candida diet and take probiotic pills at the same time.

An alternative solution could be found here...
I've only been using this for a week so I can't say if it's helping the KP but I definetly think it has helped my kprf:

Re: For those interested in A Candida Detox Diet

"Bruised fruits"?

Well, anything could bruise if hit hard enough. Bruised produce starts to deteriorate more quickly. Choose fruits and veggies without bruises, and cut out bruised parts if you end up with them anyway.

Hope this helps.
