If you have a lot of hair on your body either dark or light, does that contribute to having KP?

I have really fast growing hair especially under my arms and legs, when I have shaved it growns back really quickly. Epilating does not help me it just makes me get really bad ingrowing hairs.

Re: excess body hair and KP

I've gone through laser hair removal which permanently got rid of 99% of the hair in my KP areas. Sadly it didn't have an effect on KP though.
