DERMAdoctor KP duty products--Has anyone tried them?

Hello all--

I am new to this site, but it's been very educating to read through the posts and learn that I'm not alone! I was just researching some products and wondered if anyone out there has tried them and what your success rate has been. There are two products by DERMAdoctor. One is called KP Duty Dermatologist Moisturizing Therapy for Dry Skin and the other is the KP Duty Body Scrub with Chemical + Physical Medi-Exfoliation. I would love to try these, but together they are $80!!! That just seems like a lot of money to spend on something that may not work. Has anyone out there tried it? Thanks so much!

Well I didn't want to review on this just yet.. For a long time I've been using Glytone kit in the morning and before bed I would use urix 40 and tan which made the red dots look more brown and freckle like...

I wanted to get away from tan while using AHA so I ordered KP duty Lotion and the body scrub which is a chemical + physical medi-exfoliation. I been using it for 8 days and wow!... I can't believe how well its working!...

My skin has no more bumps and the skin in smooth and crazy soft; the redness is way down but still not gone but I've only been using it for 8 days!... I use the scrub every morning on DRY skin than I go into the shower than use the lotion after the shower and late at night...

I believe this is the best thing on the market for KP its working great for me and I haven't tan at all and getting better results than I got with the other method I use with tanning... You can/should use the scrub every day it doesn't bug your skin at all...

The bad thing about this product is the cost and the lotion doesn't last too long but it has worked the best out of everything I've used and it gives me the feeling that it will clear up my skin it looks better every day!...

The bumps are 100% gone after 8 days for me but it may take longer for others cause I was using AHA 17 lotion with a 8.8 AHA body wash than Urea 40.. even all that and tanning didn't make my skin completely bump free and the redness was there if I didn't tan which just made it brown and freckle like..

DERMAdoctor lotion (2 times a day) plus body scrub (once a day) is clearing my skin up HUGE!!! without tanning!... the redness is WAY down and in some of the spot where the redness was its like concave like but no redness anymore... I was going to wait 3 months of using it before I wrote anything about it but its working amazingly good and you asked about the product so I thought I would let you in on how it has been working for me so far...

You should order no less than 2 Lotion and the scrub but I would order 1 or 2 more lotions... Let me know if you try it... if your from Canada it takes like 2-3 weeks because of custom there are other places that sell it which gets it here within a week...

hope you try it out its been amazing for me.

Re: DERMAdoctor KP duty products--Has anyone tried them?

I used KP duty religiously for about 5 months and while my KP improved initially it then returned to the way it was after using the product for awhile. I have since moved over to Glytone products and have had better results. I have also been using In the mood for a scrub exfoliating scrub from bath and Body Works and Lay it on Thick lotion and it has been working really well. I have been doing this for a week now and the bumps are noticiably reduced. I have also been taking fish oil twice a day. The only problem I still feel like I have is the redness. Does anyone have any tricks for the redness?

I've used both the lotion and the scrub, but personally only found any change from the scrub. The lotion is greasy and will rub off in hot or humid climates. It does seem to reduce redness, but I didn't think it was worth it, personally.
The scrub however seems to work rather well, it smooths out around 95% of my bumps, and I have a severe case. You can't use it too often though because it will dry your skin out pretty quickly.

I never had a problem with it drying out my skin. I also find the lotion very good and not greasy. It absorbs into the skin very good and never leaves a greasy feeling for me... I live in a place thats very hot (Kelowna BC) and never had problems with it...I find the Glytone lotion greasy as well as Eucerin but not DERMAdoctor lotion...

It could be a skin type thing as well. I have sensitive skin that dries out very easily.

As for the lotion, I'm not sure, it could still be a skin type thing... but it might have to do with the humidity where you are. Where I live it's usually 80-90%.

Both reasons could be why we have different experience with that lotion...
