Who's Annia?

If it says internet explorer error maybe you should try Mozilla.Otherwise it's just 'go advanced' and 'manage attachments'.This is where my knowledge ends

Hi Aynas - I'm not sure why you would question this. I just took your after picture that's still available and it doesn't look nearly as good anymore when I try to get the lighting more like your b4 pic. I don't want to get too deep into this though - I don't question your success - so I won't post it unless you'd like me to. I absolutely understand people's skepticism - I now assume that "SirDuckles" is really just a Canadian SeaBuckthorn grower that wanted to increase the seabuck biz... or something like that. haven't heard from "her" in a while. (you out there? if you're legit, my apologies.)
BUT I also find it really hard to show smoother arms and legs, can't get the photos to really show it with my crummy cameras - one low mp old cheap one and a newer, high mp but not good at close ups camera. unless I go to a pro & I'm not sure I want to do that for this situation. anyway, we can all take or leave any advice on this site - what is convenient and sensible to one person is absolutely out-of-the-box for another. - bd

FYI, I've applied the stuff overnight for two nights now with absolutely no improvement. Looks like it's back to aluminum oxide crystals and AHA.

I somehow done it!
That is my leg after 3 days of oil (onlly oil no moisturiser) I will post my arm but i will try to make the picture bigger.
It might not look very good jet, but it is soooo soft and it is no longer red. There are a few bumps left but sulphur/salicylic are doing the job.
Will keep updating!
Cheers

Ayla, thanks for posting the pictures, but unfortunately, we can't view them.

Also, are you using salicylic acid while you are using the oil? This could make a huge difference and might explain why you are seeing results in such period of time while others haven't. ???? I'm not sure whether that's good or not though ...

i agree its the salicylic acid not the castor oil. i have great success with combining salicylic acid and neostrata 15%/10% glycolic acid and dermabrasion crystals. my arms are super smooth now just working on the brown dots now which look like freckles than KP. Its getting lighter everyday. castor oil mixed with olive oil didnt do me any good for 3 weeks except moisturized my skin.

Re: I've finally healed my KP.. Pictures included.

Cant see the pics?? Oh dear... Im such a mess with technology... Will try another way.
It might be a convination of it all. I did try AHA and it literally burned me down. And it was 10% but i have very dry and sensitive skin so it was predictable.
I have seen there has been some success with sulphur/salicylic acid convination so im positive it has a lot to do with it. And if castor oil its not helping KP at least its leaving my skin soft and elastic, thing that no lotion has done before so i guess oil is for me!! Downside is that you have to be very carefull in the shower as it gets very slippery So it all togerther seems to be working BUT im not saying this too loud because at least i need a month trial to make sure anything works.
And i have been peaking around into essential oils and stuff and i want to try new mixes with scent. It gives a lovely pampering feel.
Will keep you updated!

Re: I've finally healed my KP.. Pictures included.

Well, I purchased pure, cold-pressed castor oil and this is my second day applying it on my arms. (Just a small layer). I've noticed that it's very thick, unlike coconut oil, and feels like vaseline on the skin. Of course iWhile it may soften the skin and help get rid of inflammation, if you're trying to get rid of old scars from old bumps and/or new bumps, I doubt this is anywhere as effective as urea, or AHA, or BHA, etc ...

Oh well... I'll keep trying to see what results I get, because it's summer and it's a drag to use AHA, but I just thought I'd share that this may indeed not be the "cure" for some of you ...

Re: I've finally healed my KP.. Pictures included.

to me her after pic looks amazing. thank you for your info.
its gotta be worth a try. maybe shes not responding because of computer problems.it happens. and people also die. it happens too. - bd maybe the dermatox parisite is bull. but i still think that sbt is very good for the skin regardless...i found bars of soap for only 5 bucks each.

I have applied it for 2 days and it does seem to help with the redness but it hasn't done anything noticable to the bumps. But maybe it is too soon to tell, so I'm gonna keep using it and hope for the best

Re: I've finally healed my KP.. Pictures included.

Congrats on the fix, but remember that with a before and after shot, you should take the pictures in similar circumtances. ie, if you take a photo straight out of the shower - then the KP will be red, upraised and inflamed as this is the effect that hot water has on KP. Whereas if you take the photo at night or several hours after a shower the KP is likely to be less noticeable and not irritated.
Even so, as long as you are satisfied with the results then that's all that matters really...
