Anyone's KP get *worse* in the Summer?

I was just wondering because I've been reading a lot of posts where people say their KP gets a lot better in the Summer and I think mine's the opposite.

Mine tends to look redder and I think it actually helps it spread when it's hot. It first spread to my forearms a few years ago when I went to Italy (where I also got heat rash from the heat).

To be fair, I don't know if peoples' arms get better in the Summer because of the sun whereas I tend to hide mine away.

I actually wore a sleeveless T-shirt for the first time in years last week because it was so hot. I probably wouldn't have if I'd had any other clean ones that weren't long sleeved though! My KP was a bit more obvious than I'd have liked but I do believe it's getting better

Just curious anyway.

Re: Anyone's KP get *worse* in the Summer?

hi anna - mine has been worse in the summer prior to last year. so in summers 2006 and before. It's like the sweat that can't get out the follicles makes the bumps stand up worse. BUT last summer my skin was significantly better for me, I actually felt sweat on my legs. and that was just with OP, EFAs and sugar scrubbing. In winter I could usually keep it "calm" - bd
