Re: kp and the sun

Use sunscreen! Your kp will still get better because of the humidity even if you have sunscreen on.

Re: kp and the sun

people demonize the sun.

in my humble opinion i think aslong as your spf'ed up from head to toe sun is great for you all over health and well being .

When I allow myself to show arms in the summer my kp clears up very quickly , thing is i hate showing my arms so thus it keeps me from not showing them because i don't give the sun a chance to clear them up. using sun screen dosn't hinder my kp healing up at all, it may take a tiny bit longer to clear up, not much.

The sun also helps with my bacne.

The sun also gives my face a great glow and evens out my complexion. Personally I think the sun is a fantastic for skin aslong as you exfoliate, moisturise and protect.

Re: kp and the sun

not really the sun its the humidity and the heat. thats why they recommend a humidifier in ur house or bedroom to moisten the air. helps ur kp alot. actually the sun is bad for ur kp cause sun as well as tanning beds create more dead skin and dead skin cells making ur bumps worse. u want to get dead skin off not add it on . lol

Re: kp and the sun

only good thing i can say about the tanning beds before i got rid of my kp was that it was harder to see red or inflamed bumps on dark skin then it was on pale white skin lol so it definitely help cover it up
