goodjill, did you and are you still flushing everyday? have you noticed more or less improvement since your last post? im still taking the niacin. ive noticed that i dont always flush on a full stomach and i flush for a wile on an empty stomach. im thinking that it might be better to take niacin on an empty stomach.

Goodjill - i am 28 yrs old and i had this since i came to this country, when i was 10. I've always thought that the water was causing it and climate change - i come from a hot country...i have spent alot of money trying to get rid of KP but it's just not working. i have tried oil pulling, microdermabrasion crystals for nearly a year to smooth the skin and using AHA LOTION. But still not working, hair follicle is out but still my skin feels very rough - as they say chicken skin...i am welling to try this niacin tablets 500mg daily but can you please tell me more about the side effects and what exactly is niacin tablets? Also would the niacin pocket state that it is flush free or extended released, what do you mean by flush free or extended released?

Woolz - Yes i have ruled out germanboners - reason being is that i have been using it for nearly a year and it just keeps coming back. I have started again to give it another try because i was probably doing it wrong but somehow it has given me a rush and it is very itchy. Also I am using Aha lotion and it stings like hell - especially when the weather is hot. I hope this is working for you. Few minutes ago just bought 'Acneticin' (acne pill), hopefully this well suit me better.?? Keep you updated..

aha doesnt make my skin sting. u said it comes back? so are you saying you mange to clear your skin in the first place?

AHA didn't make my skin sting either untill i spent nearly 2 months of aggresively exfoliating. The AHA doesn't seem to penetrate through the build up of dead cells. Now i feel the sting.

Sorry I haven't been checking on this , All i can say is for me this worked amazingly well . be sure it is not flush free or extended release . google "niacin flush" to find out how it affects you. I have stopped taking it only cause i ran out and haven't gotten around to buying more but my skin only got alittle rough in the past month . i am planning to take it again soon maybe every 2 days to ensure the flush keeps happening because i feel it is the key for me. i showed my doctor he was amazed.
