I think it's ridiculous you want to peel off deep layers of your skin so that you don't look gross to women. You do realize you'll only look more gross, correct? You seem to be tossing out all suggestions and clinging to the one idea of peeling off many layers of your skin...

To use an analogy, it's like if you were obese, even if you had extreme liposuction but you continued to overeat, you'd get fat again.
If you somehow managed to remove the follicles permanenlty then you wouldn't have KP anymore, but you'd probably have to look like a burn victim.
I wouldn't try anything too strong. About a year ago when I was desperate with my legs and didn't know what was causing it so I used a loofah to rub a small patch of skin on my leg to remove the top layer of skin completely so it bled. I was left with an ugly scar which is thankfully mostly faded now, but the KP came back. So it won't work.
I can see the merit in removing all the keratin that's there in a way if that's what a peel would do, but it would come back without acids or something and in which case you might just wait a bit longer and use acids to remove the ones that are there too.
I honestly believe the only way to fix KP is to find out what the cause is and fix that or it'll keep coming back. Can I ask how long you tried the KP soap before giving up? Just because it took me about a month to be pretty sure it was clearing and I've been taking capsules which might speed it up. I'm only asking because you said you did see it worsen when you tried it which would suggest some kind of reaction..
And have you tried any of the other methods (oil pulling, diet changes etc)? I mean you can go down the acid route if you want but I wouldn't rush it if you do.
I totally empathize with your feelings and I don't ever date and couldn't really imagine ever doing so until I fix my KP. But I'm feeling a lot better because I think the SB is working. I don't know, just hang in there. There's always lots more options to try and new ones might be discovered.
PLEASE, DO NOT STOP YOUR LIFE BECAUSE OF KP!!!!
Don't get yourself in the trap of " I won't date until my kp is gone". You only live once!!! God knows the innumerably ways you can sabotage your life, but I'll tell you now to not sabotage yourself using kp as the reason to stop living your life. I'm not asking you to go as "all out" as putting on a bikini and going to a crowded beach, but dating???? Getting naked with your boyfriend? (I believe you're a girl, BUT if you're a girl and lesbian, then substitute with "girlfriend") Hell YES!!!!
Listen, I SWEAR TO YOU, he will NOT mind your kp!!!!!
I don't know how old you are, but let's take Robert Pattison (the Twilight dude) as an example. Ok, those girls might not love him like a grown woman would love a man, but, would they care if Robert Pattinson had kp? Would they NOT date, NOT touch, NOT want to see him naked if he had kp?
Exactly my point.
Every one has a "problem".
My last boyfriend was chubby. So f-ing insecure about it. I LOVED his chubbiness because it was HIS. I loved squeezing it (it'd always make him mad), I loved it.
I thought he wouldn't want me because he was such a perfectionist, like, he likes girls who you could put inside a plastic box and call it Barbie. I'm brunette with brown hair who likes to be original. The OPPOSITE. He would offer to put lotion (Neostrata 15% AHA, to be exact!!) on my body because of my kp every night. Yes, I'm sure he would rather not have the kp as part of my "package" (who would actually REQUEST kp?), BUT he IN NO WAY saw my kp as the monster I see all over my skin (I have it EVERYWHERE but in my lady parts, decoletage, breasts, neck, tummy and hands. I even have on top of my feet).
He would still love my skin. Would touch it all the time and not care a little bit while we were having sex (there are OTHER things to focus on at these times!). Or ever. It was just not something that would cross his mind on a daily basis. Which surprised me, since he is such a perfectionist. He would b**ch about my hair, or my clothes, but he would NEVER even look weird at my skin. It was not a problem for him. It was a problem for ME, and he was willing to help by putting lotion on me, which was also very intimate for us (and I loved it!).
So, even a guy who wants a Barbie won't mind your kp if he likes you (of course, all the other bfs I had were not perfectionists, so those cared even LESS. I'm giving the "extreme" example here).
PLEASE, GO LIVE YOUR LIFE!!!!
GO DATE, GO GET TOUCHED, GO TOUCH!!! THIS IS SUCH A LITTLE "PRICE" FOR ALL YOU'LL GET IN RETURN!!!!!
YOU WILL EVEN TAKE KP MORE CASUALLY, TRUST ME!!!!

I had my hormones level checked just today, waitin for the result.
no need to mention that applying coconut oil, exfoliation creams and gloves have been part of my daily rutine.
But for me the bigger question still remains: Why hasn`t my husband -my love- seen my beauty in another way? Is that what I should be judged on in a relationship? my skin? if yes, so where does love stand?
Oh God! Its been such a huge shock!
Ok, I'm sorry for being so blunt, but your husband is full of s*it.
IT IS NOT YOUR KP!!!!!
I don't know what it is, but it's NOT your KP.
Regardless, you clearly deserve better.
For now, if you're still heartbroken, buy the book "It's called a break-up because it's broken". That book took out of a hole when I was dumped by an abusive man, so I guarantee it works!

For your KP:
And this is for YOU!!!! Learn to take care of yourself, don't ever depend on anyone else to give you, or your skin, value, ok?
Are you ready to itch like a dog? Great!!
So, here's what you'll do.
You'll scrub your body like a MoFo in the shower with one of those gloves that are made to scrub (mmm, let me find a link of one to show you how it looks like...wait!)
Ok, I found Just go to Google and type "Scrub Glove" and it will show a bunch of images of it
Ok, so you'll use a shower gel to help you with the scrubbing. I would recommend either the Neutrogena Body Wash (the orange or the Grapefruit one. Both have the same BHA% just the smell changes) or a Dove shower wash.
So you scrub. Great.
Now you put the Clear and Clear astringent after you get out of the shower and dry yourself. (To clarify: Dry yourself THEN put the astringent) Just go crazy with it. Pour on your hands and put it on your skin. The sting should start right then, along with your regret of doing this (I always regret bc it stings SO MUCH but it works).
Then, after you focus not to scratch and cry for about 20min (that's right), and the astringent has dried, put on Neostrata AHA 10 or Neostrata AHA 15 or Glytone AHA 17. I've never used Glytone, but that's because I have the Neostrata still.
It will sting a little bit more, but that's life.

I can guarantee you, it will sting A LOT. And IT WILL REALLY WORK. IN DAYS. Not clear it up completely, please, that's unrealistic. But get you smooth skin to the TOUCH??? Definitely.
Oh, the AHA lotion of your choice needs to be put twice a day. If you're brave enough and your skin is bad enough (then it should be strong enough to handle it), do the entire scrub-o-rama twice a day (not only use the AHA twice a day, but actually do it all again).

And while you're at it. Read "Why man love *****es".
Don't ever let your skin be the cause of a failed relationship.
