Re: Commercial products that have worked
I like dermarest psoriasis gel...yes, it's intended for psoriasis, but it has 3% salicylic acid and kukai nut oil and works pretty well. if i use it more than once a day, occasionally my skin will get peely tho, so if you're planning on using it, start out slow. it's about 10 dollars a bottle and i get it in the psoriasis section of cvs.

Bath & Body Works Aromatherapy Lotion - Eucalyptus Spearmint (95-99% gone)
Vaseline Healthy Body Complexion Nourishing Body Lotion (best results with 2x/day application; approx. 85% gone) Neutrogena Transparent Transparent Facial Bar - used it as an allover body soap, though, and my KP disappeared 100% (was a teenager then, it doesn't work for me now) ![]() |

This product litearlly changed my life and the condition of my skin. You can get it at any local drug store it ranges from about $5-$8. Sometimes the Nivea website has coupons as well. Re: Commercial products that have worked
the sea-buckthorn bar of soap caleld face doctor (there is also face surgeon for stubborn cases i think) works well...not only does it make ur skin not feel itchy, but it also gradually gets rid of the kp...i feel really irritated when i wear some fabrics and it comes into contact with my kp and this seabuckthorn stuff really helped me out, my clothes doesnt irritate me at all anymore...discontinuing it tho brings it back unfortunately

Re: Commercial products that have worked
I've had KP since I can remember but growing up always thought I had a bad case of body acne on my arms. Just this year I had a friend who had the same arm bumps that I did go to the dermatologist and get diagnosed with KP. Her doctor recommended her to use an over the counter lotion called Cetaphil. I decided to try this also. I have been using Cetaphil for about 6 months now and my KP is basically gone. You can buy Cetaphil body cream at most drugstores and Wal Mart and it only costs about $10.

Re: Commercial products that have worked
I want to share this product which has completely cured my 8 year struggle with severe KP on my butt, legs, and arms. I first had KP after the birth of my son at age 36, and since then my rear has been riddled with itchy bumps and scabs from my picking. My butt looked like I had a bad case of chicken pox. I went to over 10 physicians, and tried literally hundreds of products and prescription drugs. I went so far as to do microdermabrasion on my arms. The answer for me was paraben free products. I decided, quite by accident, to use Burt's Bees volumizing shampoo and conditioner that is paraben, sulfide, and phthalate free, hoping it would help me with hair loss. Immediately--I mean the first day--my bumps were improved -- but not cured. I noticed the label said paraben, phthalate, and sulfide free. So I thought, well, I'll try other similar products. So I tried Burt's Bees "Radiance" Body Wash and "Radiance" body lotion. Within 5 days, all bumps are gone. Now I have been experimenting with other paraben free products, and I prefer Alba Very Emollient body lotion (paraben free) and the Radiance Burts Bees Body Wash. I thought I had oily, acne prone skin, but now I am able to use paraben free products on my face and I have no break outs or bumps anywhere. The minute I use soaps with parabens I get the bumps back. This has changed my life dramatically and improved my sex life which was fairly inhibited because of the bumps. My husband is thrilled! I now have my whole family, including my 9 year old, on paraben free soaps and lotions. One note, I had breast cancer about three years ago, and now 3 years later I know that paraben skin products are not good for us breast cancer survivors. I plead with all of you to be very careful about what chemicals you put on your skin to cure your KP and try to experiment with products without harmful chemicals or preservatives.

Re: Commercial products that have worked
wsm,
Thank you for letting us know how much you have been helped since you started using paraben-free products. Parabens are synthetic preservatives used in cosmetics and personal care products which can give many people allergic reactions. Paraben Free Products Feature Story Paraben Free Products Parabens have been found in the tissue of women who have had breast cancer. There are many products that don't use parabens, but you will have to read the ingredients to find them. Products by Burt's Bees can always be counted on to contain only safe ingredients. kebod |

Re: Commercial products that have worked
Glytone KP Kit - 1 application and i already have crazy smooth and somewhat clear arms. I'm about to put on the lotion for the second time, I'll have my B&A for yall later.
My only concern with it is that it's temporary. I want to fix the problem from the inside with pulling instead of a temporary solution of a cream that could eventually be discontinued. |

Re: Commercial products that have worked
I bought new produkt form Noxema yestarday. It is a 60 SECOND CLEASING WHIP (WITH EUCALIPTUS OIL).
It is smell bad,but it works really well for me.It cleans my arms and makes them really smooth. The redness goes away. You just have to try, maybe it's gonna work for you also.I hope so It is cheap stuff,I paid for it something about 6$.I use Eucalyptus Spearmint Body Lotion from Bath and Body Works too.It smells so good.I really love this stuff.I paid for it 13$. When I started use this lotion- nothing happend,it just didn't work...but after one week I could see a different. My both arms are 80% clear...so don't give up,just wait one or two weeks...I am sure you gonna see some good result. Sometimes I use Amlactin Lotion, but I hate how does it smell. It works pretty well for me,but of course I had to wait to see improvement. One of my favourite produkt is Urix 40 Spray. You can order it on internet website. It works good for me,but rigth now I just use Noxzema product and BBW Lotion and it's o.k. I am sorry Guys for my English. Profunda |
