Seaweed soap is a great exfoliator!!!!!!!

I purchased a bar of seaweed soap from Whole Foods a couple of weeks ago and it's DEFINITELY helping the texture of my skin. So far it hasn't done anything for the redness, but my skin is definitely starting to get smoother!

The brand is Reviva and only costs about $3. It contains palm and coconut oil with bits of seaweed. It's a bit rough on my skin, but the results are worth it... at least for now.

I followup with Nature's Gate Papaya Lotion which provides great moisture w/out the stickiness.

I've started taking Milk Thistle to "clean" out my liver b/c I'm thinking my KP is due to "toxins" in my body. Also, bought papain tablets to crush up for use on my legs, but they taste so good that I'm going to eat them instead. Maybe it'll work from the inside out?

****Tried Aubrey's Sea Buckthorn soap and it only irritated my skin. It made my skin extremely dry and itchy. I'm tossing the entire bar!

Re: Seaweed soap is a great exfoliator!!!!!!!

so did you start using both the soap and the detox at the same time? or at seprate times? could it be that the detox alone is making your skin clearer

I used the soap before I started the detox but I think it's still a bit to early to know if it's really effective. Although my skin is definitely smoother, I still have the red dots. I plan to purchase some papain and bromelain powder and continue adding more to my detox regimine to see what happens. Hopefully one day soon I can actually wear a pair of shorts outside of my house!
