I get these small pink/red bumps on my hands. They're very small. About the size of your average birth mark, and they're raised, like a tiny pimple. I tend to get a new one on either hand every other day or so, and they generally only take about 3 days each to almost completely "disappear".

Are these KP related? Should I be worried about it? I should probably show my dermatologist the next time I see him, but I've proven to myself that most dermatologist can't be much help with anything...

I always get these, but I noticed I got much more than usual when I tried using coconut oil on my skin. My mom gets the same things, and she's in her 50's. She doesn't have KP, but she says she had KP on her arms until her 30's.

doesn't sound like KP, as kp isn't really ever on the hands..but we'd have to see a photo to say for sure. if your mom had kp she'd probably be able to distinguish the difference.
