But they def. do soap - leaving it on for 5 mins is also worth noting too. Good luck.

Hi V Bumpy.....yes I have used the Winton shop too and have ordered some Weleda products on ebay from them, I'm in Ferndown, just down the road.

I don't think that would happen. It might be possible that you'd be able to kill fewer mites with just an external treatment so maybe it would take longer and/or not be as effective but I don't know really. I don't think anyone completely understands this. I take the capsules because they aren't difficult for me to get; they are a bit expensive but I don't drink alcohol so I feel I can justify the cost because I don't buy much expensive stuff. It's completely up to you. You might have success with your current routine, I don't know.

Well, I started both internal and external at the same time. It took at least a month to notice any benefit and 2 months before it really started looking noticably better. I can't say for certain whether the internal stuff helped because I haven't tried the external stuff on it's own so I can't compare, I'm just mostly basing it on the fact that SirDuckle's said the juice was speeding things up in the first post.

The problem with the SBT is that it does take time to work and mine didn't get worse for too long (like a week) but it still takes a few months for it to really start getting better. I remember my prom/leavers' ball and I couldn't find a long sleeved dress so ended up wearing a shrug/cardigan thing to cover up my arms. I hope I can completely get rid of my KP eventually so I never have to worry about that kind of thing again.

So yeah, I think I'd recommend it. But just bare in mind that this is a long term solution rather than a quick fix, so don't expect any big miracle before your prom unforunately. But I think internal is good. I still think there maybe something in this EFA theory so internal would make sense I think as they would be absorbed way better.

I wonder if anyone has had a lot of success without any internal treatment, only external?

Jeez sirduckles, you're the only person with kp almost as severe as I got, I'm now more than ever motivated to use the SBT products!

Re: The Sea Buckthorn Treatment Guide

Hi all,

I'm having good results from using the SBT soap. I've been using the soap (face: 2 times a day and body: one time in the morning, but I'm gonna use it 2 times a day in my shower, morning and evening, yesterday was the first time of using it 2 times) and the Weleda drink for about 2-3 weeks. I don't use a bodylotion or shampoo because I don't find these here in Belgium. Maybe I will go to Germany, there you can find it easier I think... BUT the redness of my cheeks is fading and my skin tone is alot better! I've been struggling with the bumps on my arms (the only place where I get the bumps, but redness everywhere), but they are smoother as well! In an earlier post I mentioned that I was using the oil from Weleda, but that didn't do much. So I stopped the treatment then. Also because my skin was drying out, but now I know that was from another thing I was doing. So I stopped everything, because I was doing so much and I didn't know what was helping and what not . But now I'm only using the SBT soap and the Weleda drink, and I am sure this is helping me... So my face is clearer, my arms are softer, but still red spots. I hope this will go away with time. As for a break-out: yes, I had one. I got a few pimples on my face, and more roughness also. The KP bumps on my arms got bigger (normally I don't have big bumps, only millions of tiny red bumps and they feel rough) and some of them contained white stuff (keratin? I don't know), but they are all gone now and my arms feel smoother again. Also the bumps aren't as red anymore. My legs, that's another story, the redness is still very prominent, but I hope this soap will keep working... I think maybe I need some lotion with SBT to strengthen my regimen. And yes, sometimes I feel itchy , especially in the late afternoon and evening. So, this is my experience with the SBT soap so far. I will post my further experiences. But till now, I am very happy with the results

Re: The Sea Buckthorn Treatment Guide

I have just purchased the apricot and sea buckthorn shampoo. I have normal hair but this is recommended for dry or damaged hair...does that matter?
Also...I have to say all other shampoo give me dandruff...or do not do much for dandruff...this shampoo does not dry my scalp...happy with it after one use...
I want to purchase the soap by aubery, how good is it for the skin and would it not be too harsh for the face?

Re: The Sea Buckthorn Treatment Guide

Hi I'm new to forum, I started getting KP at the age of 11 or 12 went to doctors who didn't know smack some even told me it would probably fade away with time and now that I'm 21 it hasn't. I am willing to give this a try rather than doing nothing I'll post before and after pictures as soon as I get my order and hope for the best I guess.
