Hello...my name is Faye, I am 16 and live in the UK......I have had KP since I was 5ish but it has become progressively worse during my teens.I have it all over my arm, on my legs, back and buttocks. But worst of all, on my neck.under my chin and red cheeks to go with it......

My mum has just bought me the Sea Buckthorn Omega 7 capsules , the lotion and the body wash....I'm going to have a look on Amazon for the soap too.

Fingers crossed.....I'll be so pleased if this works....I'll kepp you posted.

Perhaps someone could recommend a good supplier in the UK.

Thanks

Home Page - Aubrey Organics is where I get my soap from and I've found their customer service excellent. I've used them a couple of times and they always ship really quickly

Thanks Anna..I have just ordered some soap and moisturiser.....

I tend to have very dry skin so I'm hoping the soap is gentle and doesn't dry my face to much.

i think we have very similar condition. i have beening using sbt for about 3 months. i think my kp is better than before and skin is much smoother.and i just found a good product from lush, it is a body butter and called "king of skin" . You wash, you stroke the bar over your body, you rinse it off, then pat dry. it leaves skin so soft and makes my kp so calm. "sweet japanese girl" is a good cleanser for using on the face!

there are some links of the seabuckthorn suppliers

eBay UK Shop - iloveaubrey0rganics: Special Care, Dry Skin, Mens Care

facedoctor.biz

eBay UK Shop - Winton Natural Skin Care: Hair - Shampoo Condition Style, Hand and Body Lotions, Face Moisturisers

Dr Hauschka organic Apricot and Sea Buckthorn Shampoo on eBay, also, Shampoo, Hair Care, Health Beauty (end time 27-Jun-08 00:54:03 BST)

Re: The Sea Buckthorn Treatment Guide

Hi all,

I am a guy aged 31, I have had KP most of my life, I went to a dermatologist and they said there was not a lot you can do but after reading this I have decided to give it go!

I have bought lotion, pills, body wash and hand cream. I started using it last Friday and I took photos before so if it works I will post them on here so you can see the results. I am hoping my KP to gets worse in another weeks time then I know I am on the right track.

Thanks for all your advice and information, I will keep you informed.

Cheers
Sandman

Re: The Sea Buckthorn Treatment Guide

Your "after" pictures are lovely. I would like to buy the product, but I prefer not to buy online. Does anyone know where else i can get it? Maybe at Whole Foods? Or any products similar? I live in New York by the way.

Just a quick up date...

I have the pills, Weleda shower wash, the soap, the Weleda lotion and the Aubrey moisturiser....also the shampoo.

I love the Weleda product as it smells or citrus fruit but not so keen on the Aubrey moisturizer as it smells of dustbins.....

After 6 days it has definitely got worse , its much redder and I'm looking more spotty...It is hot in the UK at the moment so me face and cheeks look very red, I have noticed that my neck and chin aren't so rough. So fingers crossed.

I 'll pop back in next week.

Faye.

Hi Faye - I,m south of England and lucky enough to have a local supplier who supplies a whole range of seabuckthorn stuff/ toiletries, capsules etc and they now have a shop through ebay - under winton health food supplies - this is where i get my stuff including soap at a reasonable price also - they do have there own website where you can find other variants that may not be listed on the other site - check out both. But they def. do soap - leaving it on for 5 mins is also worth noting too. Good luck.

Re: The Sea Buckthorn Treatment Guide

i just started using seabuckthorn barsoap and shampoo 2 days ago.
right now, i THINK my kp spreaded to my once clear thighs. but im kinda skeptical since i've tried so many other things and failed. and especially cuz im not sure if it was fully clear before or i just never noticed the kp. probably too early to tell...

for anyone living in markham, toronto, or richmondhill,
theres a place called "Extracts of Nature"...that sells seabuckthorn soap, shampoo, oil, capsules, and others stufff....
the address is 270 West Beaver Creek Rd, Unit 15.
Richmond Hill, Ontario

ummmm...its in the same plaza as the Wasabi near commerce gate on highway 7.
it's beside a subway and a traveling agency place.

the women that owns the store also has kp and she told me it helped her alot
