im not using a ton of things on my face.... just the lactic acid and antifungal cream.....

I know im allergic because i get hives from glycolic acid that go away after a day. Hives are allergic reactions....


thanks indigogirl. I highly doubt it's eczema as my skin is currently not dry (i also have seb. derm, which causes me to flake. Right now my seb derm is gone, let's cross our fingers and hope it stays that way for a long time!) And when i do get the itchies, they are itchy red bumps, which doesnt fit the description of eczema. Also it's pretty much confined to my cheeks and sometimes, centre of my forehead. I do get red kp bumps on my chest too, but those have never itched me, they just sit there and look ugly.

EK - btw, do you have PCOS? (polycystic ovarian syndrome?) Women who have high testosterone levels sometimes have it I believe? I've had ovarian cysts that got big and painful (ruptured!) but never quite hit the marker for full-on PCOS. anyway, I always assumed my slightly hhigh testosterone contributed to my skin problems too... - bd

hey i used to have really bad kp bumps all over my face and my face was also really red. i still have kp all over my body but i've used neutrogena ultimate moisture facial day cream for two years and my bumps and redness are around 97% gone!
all i do to wash my face is give it a wipe with st. ives moisturing make-up removal wipes and then rinse with water and apply the moisturiser.
seeing as your skin is quite sensitive i think this cream would be great as it simply moisturises but doesn't exfoliate/be harsh on the skin.
