Bio Oil Success

Hi,

I've suffered from kp on the backs of my arms for years not knowing what it was. I don't have it as severely as I've read about on here but it's always bothered me and this winter has been especially bad.

I've recently started using bio oil on the backs of my arms after exfoliating. I put it on at night before bed and put cut off stockings over it as it's very sticky and gets on everything. After just a few days I've noticed a significant deifference and am so excited! My arms are already feeling smoother and the white heads have gone. I still have redness and it's still a little bumpy but I'll let you know how it clears up over the next week or two of doing this.

Re: Bio Oil Success

Sorry I should have put what it was in the original post. Bio Oil is 100% pure vitamin E oil. I bought it from a health store. It comes in a small roll on container. I got a 1.13 oz (32g) for $20 and it lasts quite a while.

I hope this helps.

Re: Bio Oil Success

lucky for you that bio oil is working for ya *Candace*! i've tried bio oil before but it doesn't help with my kps. although keep us updated with ur progress, i think others and myself would love to hear about it. however i found bio oil help with slowly fading some scars on my face. and i reakon it is a good form of moisturiser (for a slight glowy look) for the face as well (as long as u stick with using just 2 to 3 drops of the oil..massage on face till it absorbs with little residue left...but be careful cos putting too much will cause breakouts >_<) sorry, i've completely change the subject.

hope others might give bio oil a try, cos it may just help rid those kps for them

Re: Bio Oil Success

The Bio-Oil I have used is not Vitamin E oil, I always referred to Vitamin E oil as just Vitamin E oil. Maybe we are not talking about the same thing.
The Bio-Oil I know and love is an oil concocted of several different oils and something they call PurCellin Oil. It smells good, feels good and soaks in quickly. I have started putting it on every inch of myself, even my face. I have a mild case of KP, with very little discoloration. I have angry little bumps on the backs of my thighs, parts of my arms and parts of my stomach. While the Bio-Oil has not taken it away completely, it feels and looks much much better, and I have only been using it 2 weeks. Together with mild exfoliation I use it once daily, if that. It has done amazing things to the texture of my skin, the tone of my skin..I love it. My boyfriend noticed the difference within days. I think better results would come if I would use it 2 times daily as recommended, but it is very expensive. I am halfway through the $20.00 bottle. I also started cleansing with a natural glycerin soap.

Re: Bio Oil Success

Bio Oil (PurCellin Oil) didn't worked for me. I tried it more than a year ago and it worsened severely my KP.
