my name is Matt I'm 21, and i have a horrible case of KP on my upper arms. I also have a little on my upper back, and i believe some on my face although it is hard to tell cause I'm fairly tan. It seems like it just kinda happened over night i didn't even know what kp was until 5 mouth ago but have always had it a little bit. I have the classic story of went and saw a derm and he told me that the only thing i could do was put lotion on it to make it a little better. after found this site and have started using tazorac .1% which i was already using on my face for acne. I take minocycline which is an anti inflammatory which you would think would help my kp but not really. i have been using on my arms for about 2 weeks, also using apricot scrub, without any real results would love any advice.

anyone got any thoughts???

Different remedies work for differnent people, which makes it difficult for one person to recommend one remedy. I think there may be different causes of KP, therefore, not just one solution works for everyone. The best you can do is do a lot of reading and research here, and start using some of the remedies. After a while, you may find some that help you. Good luck, please post again, and feel free to jump in to some of the other discussions.
