[HOW-TO] Uploading Custom Avatar/Profile Pictures

Hello All!

Some of you have inquired regarding sharing and interacting in the forums with other members. Below I'll try to explain how to use some of the most useful forum features in a non-technical way. But first, please review the forum rules before posting (Please click on the Mr.Blue face below, LOL):

Now that you have read the forum rules, go ahead and change your avatar or profile picture (if you want to, of course). How? (see below)
  1. Click on USER CP

    i.e.

  2. Scroll to Settings and Options (find the: Edit Avatar picture link)
    i.e.

  3. At this stage, you have two options:
    Either (1) enter a URL for an existing image on the internet (detailed instructions below*), or (2) upload an image from your computer (click on Browse Custom Avatar and find your desired picture in your computer)

    * To display an Image that resides somewhere on the internet (Option #1): Right-click on the specific image, click on it's properties, and copy the Address (URL) (i.e. http://site.com/images/my_dog.gif). Paste this address in the space provided for that.
  4. Scroll to Settings and Options (find the: Edit Profile picture link) and follow step 3, but this time you are selecting your profile picture.
That's it!

In addition, I encourage you to explore and get familiarized with other features. If you make a BIG mistake (lol), contact me so that I can fix it for you.

=====
Other things you can do within the forums:
  • Open a New Thread (New Conversation Topic)in our Introduce Yourself Forum.
    • i.e.

    • Introduce yourself: Tell us about you, location, for how long you have had KP and a brief description of your treatments, if any.
    • What experiences you have had dealing with KP? (and others)
  • Reply to other people's threads
  • Add attachments (related or not to KP) in your posts... you are most welcome to do so (as long as they comply with our forum rules).
=====

Other notes:

We know that dealing with KP is not easy, but by sharing your experiences with others you will definitely realize you are not alone.

Pleeeeze, if you have any suggestions, don't hesitate to contact me, ok? We are constantly working to improve your experience while onboard.
