I dont know much about this, I have been using Ucerin Dry Skin Intensive Repair cream.. and then this Udderly Smooth stuff at night (started 2 days ago.) Heres My Questions. SOMEBODY ANSWER PLLEEAASSEEE!!!??? What is oil pulling?? What are plugs?? What is exfoliating?? So many more questions, but its late and i cant think.. Answers?? And what would be the easiest, best way to get rid of these stupid bumps!?!?! Last edited by emmm2; 06-23-2007 at 04:48 PM.. |

there is a thread about oil pulling on here...you basically swish some oil (a certain kind..can't remember) until it's like water and then spit it out...it supposedly gets rid of toxins in your saliva or something (I'm not an expert since I don't do it)
Plugs are the white bumps, which is a build-up of skin cells or keratin exfoliating is a process of using either a scrub or pumice stone that s****es off the layer of dead skin cells that don't come off like they should. There is no easy way to get rid of this...it's a lot of trial and error to find the treatment that works for you....you'll have to read around the site to find something that sparks your interest and sick with it for 2-3 months to see if it really works. Short and sweet answers, sorry, but my best advice is to do your research and look through the posted threads. |

you need to google oil pulling, you will find out all the info you need. As to what exactly people are doing and whether or not it is helping, you need to read the posts here. I personally have not had much of a result with Eucerin. I am going to try some soap with Sea Buckthorn Oil in it. Check it out if you can.
What did your dermatologist say about your KP and how does he want you to treat it?? Moisturizing lotions will not be of much help as far as I can see.. There is a lot of info to be found here and on the internet in general.. you just have to know what it is exactly that you have going on. good luck ~Teresa |

Thanks so much!!!
My dermatologist just said intense moisturizing, he gave me a perscription but it gave me a reaction. The Eucerin has been working!!! It made the bumps go down, just the redness is still there. |
