Re: Microdermabrasion

We all like to see before and after photos, so based upon that idea, I have posted a 'Control' and 'Treated' photo in the photo gallery. It shows the effect of microdermabrasion gel on the clogged pores of the hip skin. Left picture is untreated (control) skin. The photo on the right is the treated skin (after about 1.5 months of using the microdermabrasion gel, once daily) If you doubleclick on the photos below, they will enlarge so you can see more detail.

Cheers

Re: Microdermabrasion

Wow, amazing results! (though I have to admit, the person didn't have severe KP to start with)

Annuu, what is the microdermabrasion gel?

Re: Microdermabrasion

Yes, you are right, the follicle blockage was mild to start with, but I don't yet have any photos of the results with more severe kp, so thought that this might be interesting to see anyway.

The gel is my own recipe, called Microderm kp Gel.

It's quite concentrated (61% AlO microdermabrasion crystals), and it's in a squeeze bottle so it is easily used in the shower (unlike the plain crystals, there is no need to mix it up).

Cheers

Re: Microdermabrasion

Hi snowman! I've started to use the microderm christals this summer..It really smoothed my skin, but i think I stopped to early because I was so eager to try AHA lotions.. I've been using neostrata AHA lotion 15% for 4months and my legs are completely smooth but there are still red dots..although they are fading..Last month I started to work with the christals on my arms again..and again I'm surprised: The smoothing goes so fast with the christals..After using the christals in the shower, I put coconutoil on my arms..which I think is a very good combination. Recently I also ordered the lacteem extra, but It is to soon to tell whether it works good (I use the lacteem extra in the morning on my legs, and Neostrata in the evening) Maybe the lacteem will speed up resuts..

I'm a bit in a dilemma: in the summer..the sun would really help to reduce/cover my kp! But now with the AHA I cant tan (right??) so I really hope that the red dots are gone in june...otherwise I cant be in the sun without a very very high sunscreen....so I'll have to choose: rough skin which is bearly visible..or smooth white skin with red dots.. I know patience is the key..

NO!
You can not tan while using AHA's. Do not expose to sun while using them.
