Opinion on my skin

Hi! I'm new here. I've had KP all my life and it has never actually bothered me as it's only really visible in my upper arms and legs. What do you think of my skin? Does it look good or bad? Has anyone with a similar kind of skin been able to reduce it?

EDIT: Might as well post a leg picture.

Thanks for the advice. Also, do you think tanning would make it look better? I'm Mediterranean, so I can get a tan in no time.

That's what my KP looked like (yours might be slightly better). here's what i've found...

1. Tanning makes it appear better cause the darker skin seems to hide the red color of the bumps.

2. Exfoliating is a good idea as a starting point. Will remove the buildup of dead skin. A couple weeks of exfoliating after bathing should get rid of the build up.

3. Using a product like clean and clear you remove the dirt and oil build.

4. Using an AHA creme/lotion

5. I'm currently awaiting my Eucerin dry skin therapy plus intensive repair cream to arrive as this may have great results.

Hi

Yes i agree with Mikew regime. It will help.My Kp is very mild on my arms so it clears up completely with a bit of exfoliation and aha lotion. My legs are a different story im still on my search for something to take away the red spots.

But i think since my skin can easily tan and tans quite deeply that i am tempted to tan to disguise the red spots.

i recently bought a dead sea mud detox body wash and exfoliatant so im giving that a try in the shower and bath. I hear that dead sea porducts are good but will soon find out. And afterwards using Neostrata 15% aha.

I believe the pores on our legs are much bigger than the rest of our body. Hence it's more difficult to remove the kp. I'm sure it's only a matter of time before soething is discovered.

Hi Klaire... could you tell me what your regimen is for using Tazorac? Some people in this forum have used it on wet arms, with aveeno lotion, every day, every 4 days, etc. I was just wondering how you were using Tazorac in terms of amount, frequency, other products/lotions, etc. Thanks so much!
