I share the same concerns as you. My skin is pimple prone, so hopefully my arms won't be all pimply when I try it. I'm a bit skeptical about this though, as I think the PB might clog up the pores even more than it already is (KP is basically formed from clogged pores). What PB, coconut oil or other types of oil might be doing is act as an oily "super moisturiser".

Well I did try it last night and my skin seems softer today. I will see how it goes. anything is worth a try to get rid of this stuff. I will try it for about a week and see how it goes. Both of my sons also have it. My mother, sisters and brother also have it. My younger sister does not have it so bad though.

I am going to try this right now. I am seventeen and i have had this all my life. I have not been able to were shorts or skirts without someone asking me whats wrong with my skin. To make it so bad i just made my schools cheerleading team and will have to go in front of a large crowd of people with a skirt on. Are there any other home remedies that ya'll have found that works?

Jessica, I haven't tried the peanut butter therapy but it seems to be working for some folks. Most remedies take time and patience: oil pulling, AHA lotions, diet changes. Here are the three threads that have therapies that have cleared my KP by over 50% - I feel certain I'll be KP free some day using these approaches:
My search is over!
worst case of KP treated naturally-Success story on page 76
Oil pulling treatment

People seems to be having quick results with Eucerin Dry Skin Therapy Plus Intensive Repair Creme. Here are two threads that discuss it:
My KP miracle!
Eucerin CREAME!!!!

For a quick fix, you might try Sally Hansen Spray Makeup for Legs. Here's a thread that discusses it: Makeup???????
Or search the forum on "makeup" for other threads - it gets discussed a lot on here.

Also, you could try opaque hosiery. "Support" hose are thicker. Not great looking, but might do the trick till your KP clears.

Congrats on making the team!!!

Where do you get the spray make-up from? I tried the peanut-butter and oil-pulling last night and my skin feels spfter but it didn't take way the bumps and spots.

Sally Hansen is a drug store brand. Here's the actual product page: http://www.sallyhansen.com/airbrush_legs.cfm. Check their web site for a store locator: www.sallyhansen.com. Or your could Google the product name to find online dealers. Good luck! :-)

a lot of people say that they wake up the next morning and there KP is so much better but usually with everyone whenever u wake up ur KP seems better i guess because of the virculation u get during your sleep or something.

I must admit, when I first read this thread, I thought it was a little silly. But, after reading around, it actually makes sense. Peanuts are good sources of magnesium. If you read "the yeast connection" thread, you will see somewhere that KP is caused by our inability to absorb calcium and/or magnesium.

I've just tried it, I found it hard to cover my arm with it though.
Next time I will warm it up a tiny bit

If this works I'm going to pop to the supermarket and buy some more

I'll let you know if I notice anything tomorrow!

Update - - - -

I just had a shower and washed the peanut butter off (it stinks when you mix it with water) and so far my arms feel really smooth! I can still see red dots but it has defently helped so far! I'll see how it is tomorrow and i'm going to continue this for the next week to see if I get anywhere

Thanks guys!
