Mederma works great for me!

I try everything out there. I use Mederma. It's pretty expensive, but it works. I looked up products inside it and saw Allantoin. Also, I use a new Vaseline lotion (purple container) that's for skin renewal and interchange it between Mederma when my skin gets too dry.

About Allantoin, it's even in Oil of Olay Regenerist products---because it helps regenerate skin renewal. This is the ingredient in skin renewal and looking younger, apparently. Anyway, that's what this problem is: Our skin just gets backed up sloughing off excess skin, so it clumps together and gets backed up rather than sloughing off at a regular rate like other 'lucky' people that can go sleeveless whenever they want (I HATE those people!). Anyway, look for any product that has Allantoin because that's what helps with skin problems, by sloughing off the old stuff. I was even trying to find chemical suppliers to just buy that, but haven't had any luck yet.

So try Mederma and if it works for you, it's the Allantoin in it and look for all products with it in it----I understand Aveeno has it in their lotions too. I'll probably experiment with that one next.
