Hi,
I'm so happy to have found this forum. I never knew that this condition on my arms, thighs, calves and especially my butt had a name. I have a daughter who also has rough upper arms, but its good to know she may outgrow that a bit. My question has to do with the ugly terrible and embarassing scars that have been left on my buttocks from my obsessive compulsive picking. I can work on the OCD habit, but like many other posters here, I'm mortified by my loving husband of 8 years seeing my ugly butt, not to mention changing in changerooms, the bits that show at the top backs of my thighs beneath my swimsuit line. Does anyone have any suggestions for helping the scars to heal more quickly? Will they just go away once I try the skin treatments for the KP itself? Thanks for any advice, SF. |
