I bought a portable sauna on ebay for 40.00 dollars and 40.00 shipping.
I have come to find out what caused my pilaris is dead skin. I have tried everything to get the dead skin off but nothing does it completely. The sauna makes your skin very hot and soft. So right after I get out of the sauna for 20 min I get right in the shower, then I take a pumice stone and gently scrub my arms and you wont believe how much dead skin comes off. You will get results right away. I try to do this once a week. I stopped using the sauna for a several months because my skin looked so good but It started to come back. you wont belive how soft your skin is after the sauna. Hope this helps John |

hmmm...this sounds interesting..maybe i should join the gym and use the sauna there. but that won't be anytime soon as i will be needing to get foot surgery in the next month or so..maybe i could try that out over the summer.
how does ur skin look afterward? have u tried scrubbing ur skin before without having used the sauna? how does it compare to scrubbing after you have been in the sauna? |

It doesnt compare at all the sauna makes your skin so hot and soft. Thats what it takes to get all the layers of dead skin off. If you srub with the pumice stone without using a sauna you will s****e you skin and it will look worse.
