I take up to like a 25,000 capsule a day. 10,000 is not too much....but the trick is trying to find the minimum it will take to see improvement and to stop the new bumps from forming. It wouldn't make any dots go away, but it's stopped most of my dots from coming back. So stick with the 10,000 and if you don't see improvement then slowly move up. Try not ot do more than like 30,000 a day. Also try to find the vitamins and stuff that help with vita a /beta carotene digestion....I take vita e and cod liver oil cause i read they help with vita a digestion. Also, realize that this solution is for the desperate ...those who hate the bumps that keep coming back in random places and will continue to take beta carotene..probably for rest of their lives. Because from other people's experience and kindda of my own too...if you stop then the bumps will start to come back in a period of just two three days and they'll start to come back whereever....so the more you take, the more you're commiting to this regimen for good ...at least that's how it is for me

Probably best to talk to a health professional or do some googling on the net to find out safe levels.
I was interested myself to know if more that 10,000 was safe and consistently sites said 10,000 was the safe level for women and that 25,000 was getting into an overdose. With side effects such as birth defects and liver damage it is best to get a professional's word on this. i.e. - one site that came up after a quick search said: Vitamin A overdose and toxicity -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- An vitamin A overdose can be harmful to bones and skin, causing weakness and brittleness, even leading to fatigue and vomiting. Excessive intake of vitamin A is toxic, at dosages of around 20-25,000 IU daily. Consuming more than 25,000 IU of vitamin A per day (adults) and 10,000 IU per day (children) from either food or supplements or both is known to be toxic. For those 19 and older, the tolerable upper limit for vitamin A consumption has been set at 10,000 IU per day. An excess of vitamin A taken during pregnancy can cause birth defects in the fetus. Symptoms of a vitamin A overdose include tiredness, discomfort, lethargy, upset stomach, decreased appetite, vomiting, slow or decreased growth, joint soreness, irritability, headache, drying and cracking of the lips and skin, hair loss, and yellowing of the skin. take care |
